2010 Boeing Negotiation
SOP #7
Strike Operating Procedure #7
Bus Driver
Bus Drivers will depart the Hall at the time prescribed by the
Strike Captain.
Bus Drivers will not use cell phones while the bus is in motion
at any time.
Bus Drivers will be given an assignment sheet for the gates to
drop off and pick up from.
A standard bus route will be indicated. The Driver will take
this route to the best of his/her ability, even if he has no drop off,
as there may be a pickup he/she is unaware of.
Bus Driver may need to make last minute changes to gate
assignments. If this occurs, the Driver will mark clearly on his copy of
the assignment sheet that has been re-allocated to what gate. This
sheet, whether changed or not, will be given back to the sign-in
committee upon return to Hall.
Bus Drivers must be of good mental judgment when working.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is illegal and against
District Policy.
Bus Drivers will have control of the members on their bus and
any member refusing to follow legitimate, reasonable requests of the
Driver will be reported to Security at the first opportunity available.
Bus Drivers will be given radio priority when they are away from
the Hall. This is to allow the Driver to obtain direction or
clarification of issues with minimal disruption of the drive route.
