STRIKE AUTHORIZATION VOTE RESULTS
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Strike Authorization Vote was held Sunday, May
2, 2010 at the Saint Charles Family Arena.
Membership passed an Authorization to
Strike
by a 99% APPROVAL
The message that members sent to the Company was loud and clear. Your vote supports the position of the Bargaining Committee that we will not accept a contract proposal that destroys our seniority and is loaded with concessions. We will continue to work diligently towards securing a fair and equitable contract that is acceptable to our membership.
We remain optimistic that strike action will never be necessary. However, the next few weeks will reveal if the Company plans to listen to the message we have sent.
Wednesday, May 5, 2010 is Solidarity Day (T-Shirt Day) so please wear your T-Shirts in support of our Union.

is Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Family Arena in St. Charles
and doors will open at 9:00 a.m.
