Don’t Sell Out Defend Our Pension
Brothers and Sisters,
The
Company remains convinced that you are willing to
sell out
your children and grandchildren by absolutely refusing to withdraw their
proposal to eliminate the pension for future employees. We all know that
the pension benefit we enjoy today was fought for and protected by those
that went before us. It is solely up to us now to
defend the pension benefit
today.
The
current Company offer remains severely inadequate in many areas. We will
follow with a SpeedFacts today that reflects changes to the latest
Company proposal.
Every member of your bargaining committee urges you to reject any
contract offer that eliminates the defined pension benefit for future
employees.
