Strike Assignments
Some members have called requesting a change in their Strike Assignments. First and Foremost, the members need to understand the District retains the right to make all assignments. With that, the District is making every attempt to create assignments that work best for each member. That is not always possible. Most members who completed the request form received their first or second choice. The District attempted to give the ones not receiving their choice another week to request a third or fourth choice. After that, the members who did not send in a request were randomized and assigned to the open slots still available.
The District developed a process whereby members can request a switch of duties. this process REQUIRES the member to find someone willing to exchange duties and both parties fill out the request for change form IN FULL. The form is located in this pdf file:

Any form not fully filled out will be denied. The District can not provide contact information for any member as the personal phone or address information of each member must remain confidential.
