Security/Parking Lot Duty
Personnel walking security in parking lots will report for their
assigned shift with the Strike Captain.
Security/Parking lot duty will be 48 hours in duration one time
per week.
Shift hours will be 2AM to 6AM, 6AM to 10AM, 10AM to 2PM, 2PM to
6PM, 6PM to 10PM and
10PM to 2AM.
Security/Parking will wear an orange vest so he/she is easily
seen.
Security/Parking will carry a flashlight from just before dusk
until just after dawn.
Security/Parking will ensure traffic flows from north to south
at all entrances.
Security/Parking will ensure only our transportation vehicles,
security, or emergency vehicles, use the east entrance.
Security/Parking will watch the lot to ensure cars are not being
vandalized or tampered with.
Security/Parking will not allow tow trucks on the premises
unless a member is standing there to escort such truck to their car for
repair or assistance.
Security/Parking will direct news media to the entrance of the
District offices where they will be met by internal security for further
instructions.
Security/Parking will monitor reserved handicap parking for
proper use.
Security/Parking will assist picketers in finding open parking
during peak rush hours.
Security/Parking will only allow the news media to use the west
entrance and allow them to park near the park unless specifically
authorized elsewhere by District Staff of Strike Captain.
