Local Lodges
District 837 has two Local Lodges within
it's jurisdiction and is responsible for the negotiations and
contract enforcement for Lodges 837A & 837B.
These two Locals have members that are employed at The Boeing Corporation and GKN located
in St. Louis Mo.
District Representatives are elected by the membership at large, while
the Local Lodge Officers must be working in one of the trades
represented by their particular Local. This page is to provide some
basic information for each Local.
Local Lodge 837 A is comprised of GKN bonding mechanics, process operators, spray painters, and metal
fabricators, and, Boeing assembly mechanics-all around, bonding
mechanics, crater/packers, garage attendants, heat-treaters,
housekeepers, machine/hand sewers, Maintenance workers, aircraft
production mechanics, electrical and radio mechanics, munitions
mechanics, tube/cable mechanics, chemical processors, hydraulic press
/hammer operators, nameplate processing operators, sign painters, parts
finishers, precision platers, sand blasters, sheet metal & riveters,
sheet metal fabricators, precision sub-assembly, production welders, and
utility workers.
Bill Brock is the president of Local Lodge A. The Lodge meeting is held
on the 2nd Saturday of each month, unless otherwise noted in the Lodge
minutes, at 10:00 AM. The meeting is held in the Meeting Hall at 212 Utz
Lane, Hazelwood, MO.
Local Lodge 837 B is comprised of RTI employees working at any trade, GKN machinists, machine repair mechanics, and industrial process maintenance specialists, and, Boeing mock-up & tooling builders, precision tool & cutter grinders, heat treaters, aircraft inspectors, assembly inspectors, metrology inspectors, tool & die inspectors, all around machinists, general machinists, all around maintenance mechanics, material handler specialists, automotive mechanics, electrical & electronic mechanics, electro-optical mechanics, flight mechanics, machine repair mechanics, maintenance painters, maintenance pipefitters, production material coordinators, tool & die makers, and tooling welders.
DeWitt Darity is the president ofLocal Lodge B. The Lodge meeting is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, unless otherwise noted in the Lodge minutes, at 2:00 PM. The meeting is held in the Meeting Hall at 212 Utz Lane, Hazelwood, Mo.
