John began his service with the IAM in 1986 soon after hiring into McDonnell Douglas as a Sheet Metal Assembler & Riveter. He has worked on AV8B Harrier’s, F/A-18 Superhornets, and F-15 Eagles. John is currently serving the membership as Local Lodge 837A- Recording Secretary and a District Delegate. He currently serves as a member of his Local Lodge’s Legislative committee and Co-Chairman of the Bylaws committee. He has been a past Shop Steward and attended the IAM Leadership I training at the Winpisinger Training Center.
John graduated from St. Charles High School in 1982 and went on to attend college at the University of Missouri at Columbia and Lindenwood, University in St. Charles. John currently lives in St. Charles, Missouri with his wife of more than 25 years, Julie and their three kids. John’s interests outside of the union include spending quality time with his family and visiting their kids at college. Their fall weekends are usually filled with tailgating and SEC football at MIZZOU.
