District 837 IAM H. E. L. P. S. event Aug 2024
On the 3rd of August 2024, over 20 members of District 837 volunteered to donate 4 hours of there Saturday to the St. Louis area food bank. Our IAM volunteers packed 18,937 meals for distribution in the bi-state area. Additionally, by documenting hour hours and submitting them through the company volunteer matching contribution program we also earned an additional $1,840s donated from the company to the St. Louis Area Food Bank. This just goes to show that a better world is possible, if we build it together.
District 837 support for UAW 2250
District 837 is collecting nonperishable goods to support UAW 2250, as they fight on the front lines of our labor movement. Recently, UAW 2250 shared with the St. Louis Labor Council a list of goods they are in need of, to support their members. Your elected St.Louis Labor Council Representatives have reported the below list of items 2250 is requesting.
